Margaret was so sweet. We were so happy that she and Ruse Jr found each other and built a life together. She made him so happy. There’s a particular scene that has come to my mind often through the years: in the hallways of First Baptist Church in the late 1970s, Wanda and her two little girls were arriving for Sunday School in pretty wool coats and matching hats. I think Wanda wore beige, Elizabeth light blue, and Margaret red. What a beautiful memory it is for me. Love, condolences & prayers for you. It won’t be long before we’re all with Margaret and our Savior.

Ruse, the first of my zinnias bloomed yesterday. More rain than sun delayed them this year. To have the first bloom on the day that you lost your sweet Margaret makes this year’s “crop” extra special, though. I remember using them for your wedding rehearsal dinner because Margaret loved zinnias. I am so glad that you and Margaret discovered each other, fell in love, and celebrated traveling and hiking together. You two had more fun in the brief time you had together than many of us who have made it past fifty years! May God continue to bless and keep you with all the memories you made. Grace. Peace. Aloha.

Will forever remember her sweet spirit of purest love and caring along with her open arms ready to hug. Her dear smile lit up her face and radiated to caress you with the very love of Jesus. I’m so sad that you’uns have had to give her up; death did not get the victory over beautiful Margaret…she is surely home.

I miss Margaret. We’ve been friends for 20 years, and what fun we had, along with our friends, going whitewater rafting, retreats to Gatlinburg, peanut shell fights at Logan’s, all of us laughing so hard, someone would snort-laugh which made us laugh even harder.riding the rides ar t the fair, sharing the Lord at cell/community groups, and more. I’ll never forget her immitating John Travolta’s “Saturday Night Fever” dance at a group birthday party. That was Margaret, adventurous, funny, and loved the Lord.
I’m laughing and crying as I type this…

Margaret Young Tucker was one of the nicest and sweetest persons that ever walked the face of the earth. She always had a smile on her face and it was calming to be in her presence. As a neighbor, she never hesitated to give us a wave and a smile and Margaret and Ruse were a joy to have at our neighborhood block parties. Margaret will be greatly missed in this world.

Margaret was a very special friend who I spent a great deal of time with before her marriage and before I worked at an extremely time consuming job. I have photos of Margaret which I would like to share with her family. We met at Belmont Church’es Singles Group. She encouraged me to go to fun activities such as Vandy Men’s Basketball games, the CMA festival, and many outdoor adventures. She loved life. She was very affectionate, kind, considerate, and respectful. I enjoyed being with her very much. I feel sad that she’s passed away, but I do not grieve as though I had no hope. I look forward to seeing Margaret in heaven. Please give me an address to send the photos. Thank you. In Christ Jesus, Paula
