Funeral services for Mrs. Mara Suzanne Sawyers, age 64, of the Howell Community, will be conducted Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Mrs. Sawyers passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Sawyers was a native of Warren County, TN, the daughter of the late Lendol Roy and Effie Liles Richardson. She was a farmer and a member of the Howell Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years Ray Sawyers, son Robert L. (Brenda) Sawyers, daughter Tonya S. (Justin) Helums, brothers David L. Richardson, Roy (Georgia) Mabe, grandchildren Kyle Helums, Kaitlyn Helums, Courtney Jackson, Jeremy Harwell and great grandchildren Harmony Thomas and Khloe Thomas. Along with her parents, Mrs. Sawyers was preceded in death by brothers James Mabe and Larry Hobbs.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to a charity of ones choice.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home.

Suzanne always had the sweetest disposition and a smile on her face. I enjoyed seeing her at volleyball games. She will certainly be missed.

Suzanne was a very nice gentle person that was always friendly.
I remember visiting them on their farm in Tennessee and having so much fun.
They came to visit us in Florida several years
ago when we lived there. Time and distance keeps families so far apart these days.
So sorry for the rest of the family for their loss. I am sure she will be missed.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our sweet friend and Howell neighbor.
Always so friendly, happy, and positive, Suzanne was always a joy to talk with.

Will do miss seeing this sweet sweet lady. Always had a smile and was hard to ever know just how she really was feeling because of her smile. Will miss her!

So sorry to read of the passing of Suzanne. She was my friend and I was always glad to see her and enjoyed talking to her. She was such a sweet person. She put up a good fight but know she is pain free now and God has a beautiful angel. May God bring you the comfort you need to face each day without her.

When we think of Suzanne, we think of her friendly,sweet, greeting wherever we saw her.
Her warm smile and a hug. She will always have a place in our hearts and in the community of Howell.
She will be missed.
