Funeral services for Mr. Mack Taylor, age 92, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Crowell and Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery beside his wife Florence Curtis Taylor who passed away in 2000. Mr. Taylor passed away Tuesday December 29th..
He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Charles S. and Birdie Tucker Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during WWII where he was a awarded the Purple Heart, a retired truck driver with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and was a member of the Dellrose Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Deann Gleghorn of Petersburg, three grandchildren Paula Coble and husband Eric, David Gleghorn and companion Misty Cunningham and Ricky Gleghorn, great grandchildren Nathan Gleghorn, Patrick and Hanna Coble, Kayla and Amiee Gleghorn and Dylan Cunningham.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 4-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
