Funeral services for Mrs. Lyndall Carter Talley, age 93, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Talley died Monday at Southern Living Assisted Living.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late S. A. and Ida May Rainey Carter. Mrs. Talley was a former employee of the Flower House, Wright’s Florist and was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include five grandchildren Valerie Womack Holloway, Fredna Womack McAlister, Pam Talley Storey, Kim Talley Hooten and Marion Talley Connelly, great grandchildren Justin and Aaron Holloway, Whitley, Marion Alexa and Paige McAlister, Ryan, Brent and Tyler Storey, Chase Hooten, Caleb and Jacob Connelly and one great great grandchild Conner Holloway. She was preceded in death by her parents S. A. and Ida Mae Rainey Carter, husband Charles Anderson Talley who died in 1976, sister Catherine Mullins and children Rex Carter Talley and Marion Talley Womack, daughter-in-law Patsy Henson Talley and son-in-law Fred I Womack.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from noon until time of service at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
