Graveside services for Lyda Gattis Mullins, age 86 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 2 PM at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bert Watkins officiating. Higgins Funeral Home will be in charge of the services. Mrs. Mullins passed away Wednesday morning in Lincoln Medical Center.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Mullins was the daughter of the late Charlie W. and Agnes Preston Gattis and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter Donna Mullins Steelman and husband Danny of Fayetteville, sister Frances Hines of Fayetteville brother Wayne Gattis of Alpharetta, GA, two granddaughters Jennifer Julian and husband Kenneth of Sandy Ridge, NC, Janna Ellis and husband Sammy of Fayetteville, three great-grandchildren Allie Ellis, Jessica Ellis and Ben Julian.
Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her husband Ben Mullins who passed away in 1993.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to graveside services.
