Funeral services for Luther Shockley, age 92 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 10 am at Higgins Funeral Home with Maurine Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Maxwell Cemetery. Mr. Shockley passed away Monday morning at his residence.
A native of Franklin County, TN, he was the son of the late David L. and Rachel Butler Shockley. Mr. Shockley was a Veteran of the US Army,a retired auto mechanic and a member of the Egam Community Church.
Survivors include four sons, Brian, Dave, Ronnie and Sam Shockley all of Fayetteville, one daughter Sandy Lewis of TX, ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
