Mr. Luis P. Alicea, age 49, of Belvidere, TN passed away September 15, 2011 in Huntsville Hospital. He was the son of the late Luis Alicea and Janet Stevick Gipson who survives. He was a former truck driver for Averitt Express and a member of the Flintville Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Johnnie Thompson Alicea, two sisters Constance Joy Mayes of Belvidere, TN and Yvonne Kirkland of Dacula, GA, two brothers Oliver W. Alicea of Ardmore, TN, Kenneth D. Gipson of Covington, GA and niece and nephew Sammy Ortiz and Gisela Ortiz.
There will be no service at the funeral home. The family is planning a service at a later date.
