Funeral service for Mr. Louie Vern Bright, age 60, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted on October 10, 2021, at 1 pm at Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Kathy Bryson, Deacon George Bright, and Deacon Robert Bright officiating. Visitation with the family will be at Higgins from 12:30 pm until time of the service. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Louie was born on March 13, 1961, in Lincoln County, TN to the late George and Estelle Talley Bright. Louie loved to cook and spend time with his family. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Louie passed away on October 5, 2021.
He is survived by siblings, George (Dorothy) Bright of Louisville, KY, Robert (Annie) Bright of Knoxville, Angela Bright of Fayetteville, and Tonya Lightfoot of Lewisburg; big sister, Kathleen Dismukes; nieces and nephews, Melvyn McDonald, Brittany McDonald, Gary (Crysa) Bright, Dwayne Roberts, Dorian Bright, Michael Bright, Samantha Bright (Danny Hollis), Anthony Bright, Quenton (Lindsay) Macon, and Christopher Bright; faithful cousin, Druscilla Bryant; and a host of family and friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Deborah Jean McDonald and Barbara Sarah Roberts.
