Linda Sue Holley Barnes

A memorial service for Mrs. Linda Sue Holly Barnes, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN. will be conducted Saturday April 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Beech Grove United Methodist Church, with Bro. Alan Shedd officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 p.m. Saturday April 17, 2021 until time of service.

Linda was born on July 14, 1946 in Giles Co., TN to the late Willie and Gladys Fulton Holley. She passed away on April 7, 2020 at Lincoln Medical Center. Mrs. Barnes was a graduate of the Boonshill School and a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church. She dearly loved her church family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Thomas Henry Barnes; son, Thomas Henry (Debra) Barnes, II of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Zachary (Ryleigh) Barnes, Hannah LaMarca, and Nicholas Barnes; great-grandchildren, John Luke Barnes and Jordy Barnes; nephew, Travis (Elizabeth) Holley; and a great-nephew, Troy Holley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Holley.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Linda Sue Holly Barnes.

Tom Until I say you at the Trump BBQ I had no idea you had lost Linda. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lost a mate and it’s a very sorry stressful life but life does go on and we go on with it, cause as time waits for no one, we too will be going on too. have a good rest of your life and remember she loved u so much.
