Graveside services for Linda M. Thornton Fears, age 66, of Lebanon formerly of Lincoln County will be conducted Friday at 2:30pm at Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Edd Templeton officiating. Mrs. Fears passed away Wednesday morning in Alive Hospice in Nashville.
She was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Oddie B. Thornton and Gladys Bevels Thornton who survives and was a former employee of Redford’s and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her mother she is survived by two daughters Leigh Mills and Christina Fears both of Lebanon, grandson Eli Christian Fears of Lebanon, two sisters Carol (Edd) Templeton of Knoxville, Patricia Ann (Lynn) Scott of Fayetteville and a brother Jerry Wayne (Barbara)Thornton of Petersburg.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 1PM-2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Linda M. Thornton Fears.

It will be one year tomorrow. A very long year. I miss you everyday and love still today I find myself still talking and asking you things just like you was still here and always looking up thinking about what you would say to me and how you would handle it.
