Funeral service for Miss. Laura Jean Luna age 68, of Fayetteville will be conducted Sunday at 3 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL. Miss Luna passed away Friday evening at Lincoln Medical Center.
A native of Shelby County, she was the daughter of the late Hershell Luna and Josephine Vandiver Luna, and a member of Fayetteville First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sisters Ellen Scott of Fayetteville, Pam Henderson (Francis) of Gaithersburg, MD , brothers Hershell Luna II of Flintville and Brian Luna (Sherri) of Lincoln Community, nieces and nephews, Jonathan Scott, Lucy Scott, Hershell Luna III, Keith Luna, Brittany Luna and Tori Scott.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 1-3 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
