Funeral service for Mr. Larry Wayne Carter, age 61, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Cleo Moon officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at 12 PM until time of service on Sunday at Higgins.
Larry was born on December 8, 1957 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Leland Carter and Avaleen Carter McKin. He worked as a Machine Operator for Eagle Snacks and Frito Lay. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and watching John Wayne movies. Mr. Carter passed away on September 12, 2019 at his residence.
Survivors include his son,s Matthew Wayne Carter and Joshua Shane Carter; grandchildren, Lucas Wayne Carter, Jayden Carter, and Kaitlyn Faith Carter; sister, Patricia Ann Clark; uncle, Milan (Linda) Sanders; niece, Thelma Clark; and nephews, Leland and Wade Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Larry Wayne Carter.

To Larry’s family,
I went to high school with Larry and always found him to be a very nice and pleasant person. My heart goes out to his family at this most difficult time. May God give you grace and peace. Lean on him!
