Funeral service for Mrs. Joyce Lynn Hobbs Buchanan, age 60, of Flintville, will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, October 30, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery.
Mrs. Buchanan was a native of Madison County, Alabama and born on August 30, 1957, to the late Edward and Janie Louise McKin Hobbs. She worked as a Physical Therapist with Nesin Therapy of Huntsville.
Survivors include her husband, George W. Buchanan; daughter, Tracy (Andy) Boyett of Fayetteville; sons, Dwayne Buchanan of Elkmont, AL and Anthony (Tiffany) Buchanan of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Randy Buchanan, Dustin Buchanan, Trent Boyett, Tyler Boyett, and Trenton Buchanan; brother, Edward Junior (Patsy) Hobbs; and sister, Betty Walker both of New Market, AL. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Faye Knox.
Visitation with the family will be 5 until 8 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Joyce Lynn Hobbs Buchanan.

Joyce was a wonderful lady. She was always fun to be around, and will be missed very much. My prayers go out to George and the children.
