John H Gaines

Memorial service for Mr. John Hearn Gaines age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 pm at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Van Johnson officiating.Burial will be beside his wife Mrs Marie H. Woodside Gaines at Lebanon Cemetery.Mr Gaines passed away Thursday at Donalson Care Center.

Mr Gaines was a native of Jefferson County, AL the son of the late John H. and Anne Gordon Gaines, he was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in World War II, and a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include Dr.Ted Woodside and Dorothy Woodside of Atlanta, GA. Mr Gains was preceded in death by his wife Mrs Marie H. Woodside Gaines.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
