We were bookends on the CHS 1956 football team and close friends for all these years. I will miss you Johnny deeply. I have many stories I could share but I might hear from sheriff Tull Malone. You were a special friend with the courage of a lion and heart of a lamb. Love you buddy, Prayers for you and your family. As stubborn as you could be, I know you love them endlessly. Rest in peace, See you soon. Your friend always, Gene.

John Cullen was a Mulberry Boy when he would visit or come to live with his grandmother, Mrs. Jess Hampton. A beautiful lady who loved John Cullen dearly.as he loved her! We were friends for all these years and our Class of 1957 will miss him.
