Funeral services for Jimmy Ray Foster, age 57, of Huntsville will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Foster passed away at his residence on Monday.
He was a native of Franklin County, TN, the son of the late James Davis Foster who died in 2007 and Wilma Jones Foster of Fayetteville who survives. Mr. Foster was a self employed contractor.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Gaynell Foster of Huntsville, daughters Michelle Haun of Lewisburg, Hillary Sydnes of Fayetteville, two grandchildren Anthony and Colton Haun of Lewisburg step-daughters, Debbie Moon of Fayetteville, Tammy Carter, step-sons Terry and Brian Carter, and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by step-son Greg Carter.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

Wilma, I am so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. I know you must be heart broken. It is hard to lose your child no matter what age they are. You are in my prayers.

Was just thinking of Jimmy the other day and wondering where he was and the good times we had in and outside of school. I am sorry to see his obit listed. I had not heard of his passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your stepfather. May God bless and comfort you in this difficult time.
I am praying that God will touch and comfort your mother in this very difficult time for her. I hope she will soon be out of the hospital and feeling better. She has been through so much already, and with this, she needs extra comfort from the Lord.
