Jennings was one of a kind. Everyone liked Jennings. When we worked on our class reunions, Jennings couldn’t do enough for us. He truly loved seeing everyone there, and he made sure everyone there saw he was there. We’ll miss you Jennings, but we’ll also remember you. Love you, from the Class of 68

Carla, Jen Doug and Bradley,

At this moment there are no words that can comfort any of you. I know this. So let me say that when the days ahead are too diffucult, try to remember the fun loving man that Jennings was and look to the wonderful memories that all of you have of him to carry you through one day at a time. Know that we love all of you and are here if there is ANYTHING we can do.

Today I lost a Father, a Friend and a Teacher. Daddy and I didn’t have a very good relationship when I was younger. But as I grew more into a man, the more the arguing began. Me thinking he didn’t care about me and just wanting to show me who was Boss. Later to only realize that he was teaching me how to survive in life. But yet I was still rebellious got caught up in alcohol thinking it was all I needed and nobody could tell me what to do. I got into trouble alot and I do mean alot. But despite it all Daddy was there. People use to say I got lucky with things because of who he was. Little did I know that the reason he helped me everytime was because he knew that I could do better. And that there was a good person somewhere inside of me. I eventually found that person and we started working together and even became partners. We worked side by side for over 15 years. I’m always going to miss him. There never was a time that I couldn’t ask him anything, that he didn’t show and guide me in the right way. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU DADDY

My sympathy goes out to the entire Stovall family. I’ll never forget us all on Third Avenue when our Moms and Dads were alive and all of you “kids” were at home. They raised some fantastic children and Jennings was one of those fantastic people. I know of not a soul that did not like him. Live on fond memories and live for the day that you will see him again. God Bless!

I just heard about Jennings, and like my daddy, I cannot believe he is gone. I wish I had known earlier today, I would have been at the service. I know the pain you are feeling. I remember going to his house when I was little and playing with Shannon in the attic play room, that was so neat. That was so long ago, but it seems like yesterday. I am so sorry for the loss of Jennings, I pray that God heals the pain.
