I was deeply saddened to hear of Jean’s death. She and her family seemed like they were kin to us instead of friends. We were close knit when we were growing up. Also, our sons Derrick, Dennis, and Darrell. were close in age to her girls. You all are in my prayers. Love Carrol

Love and condolences to each of you. My heart is so heavy with Jean’s passing; however,
I feel that Jean ran into the arms of Jesus knowing she had run her best race. She will suffer no more and is one of the best angels ever!

Jean was one of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing and loving.

There are simply no words of comfort but I do thank Thank God for wonderful, cherished memories for each of you (and for me).

I know Jean is enjoying a glad reunion in Heaven with loved ones who have gone before and was able to leave her earthly home surrounded by love and faith in what was to come. Prayers will continue for the family and friends as you grieve for Jean’s home-going.
✿•Hugs and Blessings to all ✿•

After tenderly caring for your loved one, she has gone to Heaven. The pain is gone. Peace is finally here for Jean, but her family is left behind to miss her, to heal, to look forward to that day of happy reunion. I pray for strength, comfort, and peace for you at this time, and in the days ahead. I pray that day by day, the precious memoires of your loved one will fill your heart and that day by day, the love you shared with her will help to ease your pain.

I have no words to express what you meant to me all the years you did my hair: you made me feel pretty every time, and that is a special gift. You touched my life, and now you’re at peace and out of pain. To your family, I wish them Godspeed; my husband Jim was raised with all of the Quicks, and his older brother Joey Brown went to school with Jean and Dean. I loved you, Jean! Charlotte

Jean was probably the most beautiful (inside and out) person I have ever known. I always loved seeing her and talking to her. She had the most beautiful smile and I loved to hear her laugh. Jean was so strong and she had more faith than anyone I know. She was always a joy and delight to be around.

Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers and have been through this long difficult battle.
May God wrap his arms around you and give you comfort during your adjustment without Jean. God certainly has a wonderful new angel and you all have “the best angel” looking down on you.

May God bless each and every one of you.

Sincerely,

Sandra Chunn

To James, Jessica, Emily, Julia and my dear sweet friend and Sister Dean, Patsy, Patricia and brothers, I too, am in grief at this time over losing Jean. As Jesus wept over his friend, Lazarus, I weep with you for my friend.

Jean was my dear friend from way back when; her family, our community and the world has truly lost a genuine “Jewel” who made this place on earth a better place to endure. Her sweet smile, friendly personality and love for people and God will trulybe missed by all that ever was blessed to have known her. I will always have a special place in my heart and shall never forget Jean, what a wonderful child of God’s she truly was and such love and devotion to her sweet family.

May God Bless all her family during this great loss and take comfort in knowing she is continuing to be “about her Heavenly Father’s Business”.

Jean was a beautiful woman – through and through. She faced this cancer head-on – did everything possible to beat it. I never heard her complain once, though, in the whole process. She loved her work – she loved making women beautiful. She was a great conversationalist – and listener. She loved her family and was the matriarch of beautiful daughters and grandchildren. She kept them all together – and she will be missed. I hope the girls have learned from her strength during these…..5?? years. I know I learned a lot from Jean. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Love, Rhonda Copple

Jessica,

Your mom was so special to my family. She was such a wonderful and sweet lady. I thought so much of her. My son Tucker is in Olivia’s class and he tells me all the time that Olivia is one of his best friends. I just wanted you and Olivia to know that Tucker and I are both praying for you and your family. Remember that God is there to comfort you during this time if you let Him in.

Again, we are so sorry for your loss and we are thinking of you during this hard time.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Jean. She was so many good things. She was such a joy to be around. I remember one occasion that I will never forget and that was my first day at Flintville High School. So scared and not knowing anyone. Jean saw me standing in the hall not knowing where in the world to go next. She came up to me and and ask if I needed some help. She took me to the office so I could get my schedule. I remember her smile and kind words to me that day. She and Dean were always so sweet and good to everyone. I will never forget her and that beautiful smile and kind heart. We will miss you Jean but I know you are in a place that has taken all the pain away.
