Jean Ellis Crowder

It is with regret we announce the passing of Jean Ellis Crowder, age 88, of Fayetteville, TN. A graveside service will be held at 9 am on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Riverview Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation with the family prior to the service.

Jean was born November 30, 1933, in McBurg, TN to the late Vascar and Brownie Williams Ellis. She was a graduate of Boonshill School, owner and operator of the Ranch House Restaurant, and was a caretaker for the elderly in her later years. Jean was also a member of Washington Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her grandson, Jason Chandler, and his wife Ginger; great-grandchildren, Hunter Chandler, Kinsey Chandler, and fiancé Justice Jackson, Caden Chandler, and Blane Cannon; great-great-granddaughter, Avery Jackson; special friend and caregiver, Grady Cole; nephew, Tim Brown; and great-nephew, Dalton Brown. In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Chandler; and sister, Iris Wayne Brown.

I graduated with Jean in 1953 from Boonshill High School. I was one of only 3 boys in that class. You have my feelings for your loss.
