Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Douglas Moore, age 82, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 3 PM Monday at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery. Mrs. Moore passed away Saturday evening at Lincoln Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Byrd and Sarah Moyers Douglas, she was a native of Lincoln County, formerly employed as a teacher and a secretary, and a member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sister-in-law Ruth Douglas of Fayetteville, nieces Jennifer Trott of Shelbyville and Ann Morgan of New Market, nephew Glen T. Douglas of Fayetteville, and three great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen R. Moore, sisters Sarah Byrd Posey and Margaret D. Lee, and brother Richard Douglas.
Visitation with the family will be from 2-3 PM Monday afternoon at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
