James Warren “J.W.” McBay

Funeral service for Mr. James Warren “J.W.” McBay, age 91, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. McBay passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Bailey Manor.

Mr. McBay was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Ed Lee and Gracie Lee Dollar McBay. He was a farmer and a member of the West End Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter Carolyn McBay Doud (Bill) Wattenbarger, grandchildren Troy (Kristy) Doud, Treva (Freddy) Buntley, great grandchildren Kyle Buntley, Adam Buntley, Karston Doud, Kragen Doud, Karoline Doud, siblings Houston (Geraldine) McBay, Ruth (Bill) Ward, Geraldine Thompson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emogene McBay and 9 brothers and sisters.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 W. Lincoln St., Tullahoma, TN 37388.
