Graveside services for Mr. James Harold Boaz, age 82, of Fayetteville will be conducted Sunday at 2PM at Lebanon Cemetery with Rev. Dana Crowell and Rev. Charles Edgar officiating. Mr. Boaz passed away Thursday night at Donalson Care Center.
He was a native of Lincoln County,son of the late Jim and Egera Williams Boaz retired owner and manager of Boaz Welding. He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Dale Boaz of Fayetteville, three daughters Jamie Boaz Slayton and husband Matt, Mickie Maddox Bigham and husband Tom, and Vickie Whitt Pemberton all of Fayetteville, two sons, Dennis and Darryl Whitt both of Fayetteville, grandchildren Kristie McElyea and husband Jay, Shay Ulrich and husband Matt, Brianne Bigham, Erin Sutton and husband Shawn, Shane Troy and wife Misty, McLean Whitt, Millie Slayton, McKinley Slayton, Eli Slayton, 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Boaz was preceded in death by a sister Grace Boaz, three brothers Morton Boaz, Fred Boaz and Wallace Boaz.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12PM -1:30pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
