Funeral services for Mr. James Robin Echols, age 77, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 10AM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson and Rev. Abe Silliman officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Cemetery. Mr. Echols passed away Tuesday October 28th in Huntsville Hospital.
He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Emmett Ray and Louise Hosch Echols. Mr. Echols was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner/operator of Echols Service Station for 40 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Moyers Echols of Fayetteville, daughter Robin Warren of Flintville, one son Doug Echols of Enterprise, AL, brother Jerry Gene Echols of Fayetteville, sister Mildred Ricketts of New Market, AL and six grandchildren Dale and Karly Warren, Hannah, Faith, Natalie and James Douglas Echols. He was preceded in death by two brothers Emmett and David Echols.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening after 4PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
