James Earl Price

Funeral services for James Earl Price, age 80 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Benny Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Blanche Cemetery beside his wife Jerlean Mullins Price. Mr. Price passed away Wednesday morning at his residence.

A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Price was the son of the late Byrd and Lucy Squalls Price and a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He retired from Amana Refrigeration after 40 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter Angela P. Kimbrough and husband Ted of Fayetteville, grandson Reece Ewton of Franklin, great granddaughter Madelyn Rae Ewton of Franklin, three sisters Louise May and Wilma Golden both of Fayetteville and Birdie Dudley of Huntsville.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear of your dad and granddad’s passing. It is so hard to give them up anytime, but especially during the holidays. I pray for peace and comfort for each of you during this sad time and in the days to come. Love you all!

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I just got to knowing him in the last 3yrs. and enjoyed talking to him and looking at his photos he keep in his walet. I know he will be missed.

Angie and family – We are so saddended by the passing of Mr. Earl. We will always remember seeing him at the restaurant at the front table. He and Windell would always have a conversation while we were there. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
