Jack Richardson

Funeral service for Jack Richardson, age 74, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ley Jean and Bro. Wayne Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Jack was born on August 10, 1944 in Davidson County, TN to the late John Paul and Allie Katherine Holt Richardson. He served in the TN Army National Guard, was a member of the Howell Church of Christ, and owner of J. Paul Richardson and Son Real Estate. Jack passed away on October 13, 2018.

Survivors include his wife, Dinah Bullington Richardson; sons, John Richardson and wife Heidi, and Paul Richardson and wife Jana; and grandchildren, Holt Richardson, Amelia Kate Richardson, Allie Richardson, Jaxon Richardson, and Ben Rambo.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 12 PM until 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Howell Church of Christ, 11 Old Schoolhouse Rd, Petersburg, TN 37144. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Jack Richardson.

I was so sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. I remember Jack as being the fastest running back on the Central High school football team. I always found Jack to be a great guy in every way. To Dinah and family, Sharon and I express our deepest condolences.

Jack was such a sweet man. I’ll miss seeing that big smile. He always made sure to stop and give me a smile and a hug at the Fabulous Fifties Show. May God wrap you all in His comforting arms. I will keep each of you in my prayers.

I met your Dad 7 years ago, and boy oh boy, he was a trip!! I’m going to miss your Dad’s crazy & funny comments he would blurt out! He was so much fun & had a great sense of humor! Not only was Jack my neighbor, he also became a dear friend. He will truly be missed!!
