Henry “Heck” West

Funeral services for Mr. Henry “Heck” West, age 81, of Fayetteville will be conducted Wednesday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home by members of Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1792 and Bro. Chris Jones. Burial will follow in Stewarts Cemetery. Mr. West passed away Monday afternoon at Lincoln Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Jim and Mattie Waid West and was owner and manager of Wilson Cleaners for 48 years. He was a member of the Tennessee National Guard and a member of Mimosa Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dot” West of Fayetteville, daughter Vicki Shelley of Meridianville, AL, two grandchildren Kimberley Rebecca Shelley and Leslie Renee Shelley both of Meridianville, AL, step-grandchildren Jamie Ray Shelley of Meridianville and Christopher Shelley of Athens, AL, great-grandson Mason Everett Patterson of Meridianville and several nieces and nephews..
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 1PM-2PM at Higgins
Funeral Home.
