Graveside funeral service for Henry Bruce Grant, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3 PM until 3:45 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
Bruce was born on March 20, 1937, in Moore County, TN, to the late Henry Herman Grant and Mary Elizabeth Brazier Grant. He was one of the first employees of Copperweld and retired from there after many years of employment. He was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ where he served as an elder and an adult Sunday School teacher for decades. Mr. Grant passed away on November 18, 2022, at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Survivors include his son, David Grant; grandson, Payton Grant; daughter-in-law, Carol Grant; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marian Askins Grant; brothers, William Grant, Frank Grant, and Ray Grant; and sisters, Alice Groce, Grace Evans, Josephine Dupree, and Margie Womble.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Street Church of Christ, Honduras Fund at P.O. Box 324, Fayetteville, TN 37334 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959

Bruce was such an amazing Christian example for us. We loved him as a teacher and as a friend. He has been a great influence on our lives. We love Bruce Grant and will truly miss him. We are so very thankful to have had him in our lives.

David, I know you guys are just devastated and heart sick! I am so very sorry about your dad. Glad you have someone to be with during this time.
