Sending all my condolences and prayers to your family. He was the sweetest young man, loved by absolutely everyone. I promise, you could walk anywhere in the town of Fayetteville and ask if they knew Austin and their answer would’ve been yes. It’s truly upsetting that another young life was taken too early. My father died in November and I know how bad it hurt me and our family I can’t imagine what y’all are going through. Truly a heart breaking situation.

#48 Comment By Diana Brooks McBay On February 14, 2017 @ 7:51 pm

Jen, I don’t have words to express how my heart is aching for you and your family. I remember the night we were working and Austin said “I’m ready for this world, it’s time mommy”, with his birth I watched you as you grew into a “great” mom, you have always had a brave soul and could face issues with the greatest of ease. I pray God brings you strength and courage to face the most difficult times of your life now. Hold on to those memories, precious moments of his 22 years of joy he brought to you, bittersweet moments will be what gets you through, he will always be with you in your heart.

Greg, Jennifer, and family,
I met Austin several times at the plant in Fayetteville. What a fine, polite, good looking young man. He always extended his hand and greeted me with a firm shake and a big smile. He was raised well. I know you’re proud.

I can’t begin to understand the loss you’re going through. How God could need a child more than his mom, dad, and brother? I’m sure you’ve asked yourselves this question. What I am sure of is God did in fact need Austin this early in his life. I have no doubts in that. I encourage you all to stay strong in faith. God does not make mistakes.
I pray all of you will take comfort in knowing God had a special project tailor made just for Austin and it was time to start it.

My heart is heavy heart for you all.
Rodney Adkisson

Austin left an indelible impression on everyone he met. He loved anything to do with nature and the outdoors. His smile was infectious and his heart was huge and filled with love. He will forever be missed by everyone who was privileged to know him.

Greg & Jennifer – I’m sorry to hear about this news about Austin. I really enjoyed having him in shop class at LCHS, he was always wanting to work on his vehicle and never minded helping others as well. We ran into each other several times after he graduated and caught up a little on what he was doing. He had a big heart and was always very respectful. I know he will be missed by many, but the memories will go on for years to come. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you all.

I am so sorry to hear about the tragic loss in your family, someone so young. Sometime when there is a death people may say ‘it was God’s plan’ or ‘God took them’ as if God is responsible for things like this but James 1:13 explains that God has nothing to do with such a painful event. Instead, he promises to bring to life again those in his memory who have died. John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15. Please accept my deepest condolences.
