Funeral services for Mr. Fred W. Cash, age 96, of Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery beside his wife Grace Pickett Cash who passed away in 1984. Mr. Cash passed away Tuesday night in Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester.
He was a native of Albertville, AL, raised in Winchester, but lived most of his life in Huntsville, AL and Fayetteville, TN. He was the son of the late Elbert and Cindy Hudgins Cash, was a retired electrician, Mason, Shriner and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons Phillip and wife Peggy of Winchester and Jimmy D. and wife Linda of Coushatta, LA, grandchildren Tracy Mullins and husband David of Murfreesboro, Troy Cash and wife Kathy of Ackworth, GA, Russell Layne and wife Janet of Monteagle, Todd Cash and wife Candy, Gary Cash and wife Susan, Jeff Cash, Angel Hooker and husband Phillip and Cindy Minor and husband Todd all of Shreveport, LA, 17 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4-7PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
