Funeral services for Francine “MeMaw” Mitchell, age 58 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Friday August 21, 2015 at 1 PM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Wells, Rev. Anne Hatcher and Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Flintville Cemetery. Francine passed away Sunday August 16, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Francine was a native of Lincoln County, was a nurse at Lincoln Medical Center and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. She loved her grandchildren, being outside and you could not keep her off the lawn mower. She loved her animals and each one was always given a name and treated like family.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years Dwight Mitchell of Fayetteville, special dog Bear, son Chris Mitchell and girl friend Stephanie Morgan of Fayetteville, daughter Cathy Mitchell of Huntsville, grandchildren Austin Honey, Kali Honey, Crystal Crabtree and Beth (Carlos) Hadley, great-grandchildren Andrew Bates, Micah “BooBoo” Bryson, brother Dwight (Nancy) Hobbs of Fayetteville and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Calvin Hobbs.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening August 20, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.

Condolences go out to all the family of Francine.
Her Earthly life was short, but she will live eternally in Heaven with Our Lord and Savior.
I pray our Lord will hold her family close to Him, and give them peace and comfort.

Just know we are thinking of you , in this time of grief. We know how close you were as a couple.
We will always remember you coming to our daughter’s viisitation all the way to Murfressboro and then to the funeral the next day.
I am so sorry we have not kept up with you after our move.
