Frances Ara Baker George

It is with regret we announce the passing of Frances Ara Baker George, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Taylor Cemetery with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation with the family prior to the service.

Frances was born October 20, 1932, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Cordie and Mary Ruth Stevenson Baker. She was a graduate of Samford in Birmingham, AL, and a member of the Pea Ridge Home Demonstration Club. Frances was a member of the West End Baptist Church. She passed away January 31, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.

Survivors include her son, Danny Wayne George of Fayetteville; daughters, Cheryl Ann Maginn of Champagne, IL, Yvonne Elizabeth George of Fayetteville; sister, Christine Manderson of Fayetteville; grandson, Mark Coons of Illinois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett S. George; brother, William P. Baker; and grandson, Mathew Coons.

Mrs Frances was such a kind, intelligent lady. She loved her church family and her God. Yvonne, I know you will miss her most. My heart hurts for you She will definitely be missed. She leaves a legacy of a life well lived.

Mrs. Francis was such a sweet. I wish miss her sweet smile at Lynchburg Nursing Center. Prayers to her family and friends. Rest In Peace Sweet Lady.
