Evelyn Elizabeth Brown McCool

Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn Elizabeth Brown McCool, age 85, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday February 11, 2016 at 10 am at Higgins Funeral Home, with Rev. Milton Martin and Rev. Willy Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the McCool Family Cemetery beside her late husband James Thomas McCool who passed away in 2010. Mrs McCool passed away February 9, 2016 at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Raymond and Ocie Mae Stevenson Brown, a homemaker and member of the Howell Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children James Stanley (Beth) McCool, Kerry Thomas McCool, Steven Troy (Donna) McCool, Bonnie Sharon (James) Cordell all of Fayetteville, and Cathy Elizabeth (Jessie) Waldman of Decatur, AL; grandchildren Lisa Taylor, Alayna Rose McCool, Dylan Troy McCool, Bonnie Elizabeth Russell, Jay Edward Cordell, Jamie (Aaron) Barden, Scottie Waldman, Marshall (Stacey) Waldman, and Rachel (Scott) Donalson; great-grandchildren Kayley Russell, Lily Barden, Gabriel Barden, Evie Barden, Iris Waldman, Lucy Donalson, Cathy Rose, Tabbie Donalson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother William Brown.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday February 10, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
