It is with regret we announce the passing of Eric Joshua Phillips, age 32, of Taft, TN. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date at Macedonia Cemetery.
Eric was born April 11, 1990, in Lincoln County, TN. He was a graduate of Riverside Christian Academy and worked in injection molding for Toyota and Mazda products at Vuteq USA in Madison, AL. Eric was ever the jokester and loved to laugh. He cherished his family, especially his Mamaw who was his favorite person. Eric passed away September 25, 2022.
Survivors include his father, David (Melissa) Phillips; mother, Deanna J. “Nina” Phillips (Robbie Counts); brother, Jared B. (Maya) Phillips; paternal grandmother, Linda Henderson Phillips; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Horace Phillips; and maternal grandparents, Charles Gary and Donna Louise Mahan.
Memorial donations may be made to Lincoln County Recovery Court, c/o SCHRA, 1437 Winchester Highway, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
