Funeral services for Eric Cross, age 38 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m.at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore. Mr. Cross passed away Sunday at Lincoln Medical Center.
A native of Itawamba County, MS, but a long time resident of Aberdeen, MS, Mr Cross was the son of the late Clay Cross and Nell Guest Cross who survives. Mr. Cross was a former employee of Pliant Plastics Manufacturing of Lewisburg and a member of the Aberdeen, MS Church of God.
Survivors include his mother Nell Guest Cross of Fayetteville, daughters Destiny (Patrick) Mandujano of Fayetteville and Mary Cross of Fayetteville, two sons Maddux and Tyler Cross both of Fayetteville, grandson Bradley Mandujano of Fayetteville, three sisters Lawanna (John) Hale, Cindy (Mike) Miles and Kimberly (Kaleb) Hawkins all of Fayetteville and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Cross was also preceded by his loving wife and mother of his children Monica Cross.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
