Funeral service for Emma Clark Bell, age 92 of Tullahoma, formerly of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Black and Rev. Will Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband James Travis Bell. Mrs. Bell passed away Sunday at Morning Point Assisted Living in Tullahoma.
Born in Huntsville, AL, she was a native of Fayetteville, TN and the daughter of the late Hurley Wesley Clark and Bessie Belle Tipps Clark. She was a former bookkeeper for Union National Bank and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Daphne (Cliff Harrison) Bell of Tullahoma, nephews Rev. Don
(Shirley) Clark, Charles Phelps, Fred (Mary Virginia) Richardson and Ronald (Cory) Caughran, nieces Jean Forbes, Sandra (John) Curtis, Carolyn (Jack) Boaz, Jean (Nathan) Harsh, Kitty (Jimmy) Davis, Mary Louise (Glen) Stone.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 12 p.m until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, the Kidney Association, or a charity of ones choice.

Daphne, Don, Jean, Sandra, Carolyn, and all, I remember “Emma Elizabeth” so fondly. She was always one of the sweetest, kindest people I knew and always had a smile that
would light up the room. We attended the same church (Fayetteville ARP) in our youth
and my memories of her are of a beautiful
lady that I always looked up to. My love and

Daphne, Cliff, and family, David and I send our love and prayers your way. Emma was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known and was a dear friend to my mother. I will miss our sweet visits. I hope you will find that special person to help you through the loss of your mother the way Emma helped me. What a blessing she has been to me!

Dear Daphne and family, We were so sorry to hear about Mrs. Emma – Aunt Vera loved her and I am so glad that I took her to see her this summer. I wanted to take her back but we did not get to go. She was so good to call Aunt Vera and they had such good memories and times -We are praying for you all at this time – thank you for letting Aunt vera know
She was a beautiful woman inside and out!

I can’t say that I remember Mrs Bell, but I can say that my Dad & Mom always told me about Mr & Mrs Travis Bell. I’m the son of the late Jerry Lewter & Mary ‘Renfro Lewter Hobbs; whom survives. Mom was expectin w/ me and live on Mr & Mrs Travis Bells place in Howell Tn back in Oct.1963. I have heard nothin, but postive comments from my Mom & Daddy, through the yrs! I’m so sorry for Ur looss, and I pray that God finds U All comfort & strength, durin this difficult time for the Travis Family!

You and Cliff are in our thoughts each day and have been for the last few weeks. We know too well your exhaustion and loss. Although we never met your mom, we certainly know her daughter so we know she must have been quite the character, always concerned about others and very careful of the details 🙂 . Sweet memories and rest will comfort you. Take care of yourself as you mourn for your mom. Don’t hesitate to call if you need anything.
