Edna Morrow Gault

Funeral services for Edna Morrow Gault, age 93 of Kelso, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Beddingfield and Bro. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery beside her husband Leon Gault Sr.. Mrs. Gault passed away Sunday morning in Lincoln Care Center.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late John and Delia Wilson Smith Morrow. Mrs. Gault was retired from Blue Ridge Manufacturing, was a member of the Crystal Springs Church of God and sang with the Old Timers Quartet for 40 years. She was a loving and supportive grandmother to all the grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Jodine Bean of Fayetteville, Barbara Faye (Bill) Slatton of Kelso, Reba (Roy) Roland of Fayetteville, Sonny (Venice) Gault of Flintville, Carolyn Mitchell of Fayetteville, Mary Alice McDow of Kelso, eleven grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, sister Ruth Daniel of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gault was preceded in death by infant son Ronald Wayne Gault, grandson Stephen McPherson, great-granddaughter Ashlea McPherson, sister Frances Cook, two brothers Gene and Ralph Morrow and two sons-in-law, Forrest Ray Mitchell and Raymond Bean.

Visitation with the family will be Monday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

To The Gault Family,
Jesus called a beautiful lady home . So full of joy , smiles and loved everyone. She will be missed by so many of her friends and family. Ms. Gault was such a pleasure to be around when we visited the nursing home. May you all find comfort at this sad time. GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH..PSALM 46.1

I will certainly miss her in my trips to Lincoln Care. She was always so good natured even in these most recent trying days. You have my sympathy.

God called a beautiful Christian child back into His arms for she has finish her work here on earth,,now God want her to sing in a Heavenly arrangement made just for her.
Miss Edna left her mark here on earth, A mark that won’t ever be forgotten by those who loved her.

To all the Gault family,it is with great saddness that I send my heart felt sympathy to yoy. All the memories of our feiendship with this wonderful family. I would like to be there but my wife is in hospital battling lukemia.You will be in my prayers and I will put ypu on the prayer list at my church. All of you come to mind when I turn back the years at crystal springs.
