Edna Fanning Hopkins

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Fanning Hopkins, age 77, of Elora, TN will be conducted at 3 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Elora Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 2PM until the time of service at Higgins Funeral Home.

Edna was born on March 5, 1943, to the late John Wiley and Ruby Yarbrough Fanning in Lincoln County, TN. She passed away on June 18, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. Edna was a member of the Oakley Baptist Church. She was a seamstress for Serbin.

Edna survived by her daughter, Tammy (Kirby) Atchley of Taft; grandson, Jeremy (Brandi) Brown of Elora; granddaughter, Carissa (Christopher) Harris of Fayetteville; great granddaughter, Ensleigh Harris; sister, Sue Fanning of Fayetteville; and brothers, Gene Fanning of Fayetteville, and Bobby (Brenda) Fanning of Elora. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Hopkins; sister, Edithel Randolph; brothers, James and Ray Fanning; and great grandchildren, Cadence and Kamden Harris.
