Funeral service for Mrs. Edna C. Hulvey (Tina) Simmons age 69, of Fayetteville will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James West and Bro. Chris Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery beside her husband John Wilson Simmons. Mrs. Simmons passed away Saturday morning in Huntsville Hospital.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian Kelley Hulvey, she was employed with Peebles, and was a member of the Mimosa Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son Anthony Dale Simmons and wife Christy, daughter Tonya Gordon and husband David, son Johnny Wilson Simmons II, grandchildren Jonathon Allen Simmons, Christy Michelle Pence, Brittany Danielle Gordon, Emily Carleen Gordon, Mollie Grace Gordon, John Tyler Simmons and Travis Ryan Simmons all of Fayetteville, and one brother Johnny Ward of Lenoir, NC
Visitation with the family will Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
