Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Edith Kirby Klein, age 98, of Knoxville, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Klein passed away Sunday July 27, 2008.
Mrs. Klein was the daughter of the late Richard McFarland and Lillie Wiloy Kirby. She was a former teacher with Fayetteville City Schools and went to Knoxville when she accepted a job with TVA. She was a long time member of Second Presbyterian Church in Knoxville.
Survivors include one sister: Laura Stewart, nephew Randolph Mansfield and stepson David Klein, several nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
There will be no services at the funeral home.
