Earl S. Crouch

Funeral services for Mr. Earl S. Crouch, age 86 of Elora, will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery beside his first wife Jewel McAlister Crouch who passed away in 1989. Mr. Crouch passed away Friday afternoon at his residence.

Mr. Crouch was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Jessie B. and Mae Smith Crouch. He was a farmer and he retired from the Lincoln Farmers Co-op. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntland.

He is survived by his wife Geneva Crouch of Elora, daughters Lynette Barnett of Flintville, Beverly (Terry) Posey of Elora, sisters Ruth Ward of Lewisburg, Sadie Sullivan of Fayetteville, grandchildren Heather (Jimmy) Martin, Zackary (Heather) Coker, Keeley Posey, Leah Barnett, Frankie Chad (Brittany) Barnett, 5 great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren, step-children Kathy (Wendell) Norton, Kim (Reuben) Byrom all of Manchester, Kit (Vicki) Jacobs of Hillsboro, Keita Daniel of Texas, and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 4 until 7 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.

Just found out and I am so very sorry for your loss. Uncle Earl was a great, kind, loving man and my favorite uncle. He will always be missed by so many.

Please accept my sincere condolences at the loss of Mr. Earl. I knew him from the time I was young and lived neighbors to his in-laws. He loved his family and those in his community, and he will surely be missed by many.
