A celebration of life service for Mr. Doyle Gene Perry, age 63, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 3 PM on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday at 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM.
Mr. Perry was born on February 12, 1955 in Lawrence County, TN to the late Willis Elzie and Velma Lorene Clark Perry. He worked as a beef cattle and row crops farmer and was the grounds keeper at Lincoln County High School. He enjoyed making wine of any kind and hunting and was a proud lifetime member of the NRA. Mr. Perry passed away on January 31, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lisa Gayle Todd Perry; children, Robert (April) Perry and Jennifer Perry Edwards all of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Brandi Perry, Shawn Perry, Coty (Kayla) Cloud, Peyton (Chelsy) Edwards, and Brianna Edwards; great-grandchildren, Aiden Edwards; brothers, Wendell Perry of Taft, TN, Neil (Nell) Perry of Loretto, TN, and Vernon (Donna) Perry of Oregon; and companion dog, Knox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Lee Perry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Doyle Perry.
