As a young school secretary at Boonshill School in the early 1980’s, Faye was so very helpful to me whenever I called her for help with anything school related. Even after all these years, whenever we saw each other, we always stopped to chat and think back on those days. She was a wonderful lady and I’m proud I was privileged to know and work with her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the days and weeks ahead.

Oh Faye, I just can’t believe you are gone. So glad our paths crossed at the Sr. Center Exercise class. So glad I had the priviledge and honor of quilting your log cabin quilt. I enjoyed bumping into you at Walmart from time to time too. Prayers for your family. Cordelia Tanner

I have many fond memories of Ms. Faye at Mulberry school and visiting my Aunt Jean Williams’s house (who was her neighbor) and coming to her Christmas luncheons. She was a wonderfully understanding person and a great conversationalist. Her family should be quite proud of who she was to so many.

May God’s peace be with you all.

Mr Timberman I don’t think I ever met you but I am Faye’s cousin from Huntsville Alabama. Our families visited when we were children and when I was a teenager I would come to Scott and Johnnie Maude’s to hunt squirrels and always had such fond memories of those visits. I cannot make it to the funeral but I will be praying for you you and your family and hope to be in contact soon

I graduated with Faye. We messaged each other talking about recent books we had read. I last her from her on 11/26/22 telling me about a Navy Seal book she was reading. I ordered book and it has not come. I will so miss her discussing our books. She was a precious lady. RIP Faye

From the time we were our children’s “room mothers” to listening to each other about our grandchildren, Faye was my friend. She was one of the most lovely, good hearted and gracious ladies I’ve ever met. All that knew her will continue to cherish their memories of her. Our thoughts and prayers will continue for her family.
