Michael, Donnie, and Darlene I hated hearing about your momma. Mrs. Doris was one very special lady. As long as I have known her I never saw her mad, but I guess she did. But she was always kind to me and my kids when they would come over there with Sissy. She and Mr. Tom will be back together again and that’s probably the happiest she’s been since he left. He is standing at the gate waiting to take her in . Just remember that she had a long full life,, but she was ready to go home. God bless you all.

Growing up in the 70’s in Park City and going to high school and running with Donny. Mrs Doris and Tom Decker always kept a Good eye on all of us boys. Not that we were mean, we were teenagers with a lots of energy that would sometimes cause us to draw attention of both Doris and Tom. Mrs Doris would let Donnie use the car so a car load of boys to go swimming in the Flint river. She was always kind to all of us invading her home, hanging out watching TV and Tom always enjoyed trying out wrestling moves on us boys. He never hurt us, he just reminded who the adults were and some manners to go along with it.
I had the opportunity to see both Doris and Tom at the KFC on a Sunday first time in years (2016) when my mom was passing and they comforted me and we talked for the longest.
Donnie, Darlene and Michael, I pray that the Lord will touch your hearts and ease the pain and sorrow of your loss.My deepest condolences.
