Funeral service for Donnie Lane Bennett Sr., age 41 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Bennett passed away Monday afternoon.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Earl F. Bennett and Trula May Wiseman Bennett who survives. Mr. Bennett was a farmer and worked for TN Livestock Producers and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his daughters, Ashleigh Faith Bennett, Lauren Brooke Bennett and son Donnie Lane Bennett, sisters Debbie Pendergrass and husband Chris Tracie May and husband Jeff, brothers Earl Dwayne Bennett Jr. and wife Kim all of Fayetteville, and Perry Wayne Bennett of Columbia, and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Mr Bennett is also survived by his fiance Rita King.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
