Donna Jo Bishop

Funeral service for Mrs. Donna Jo Bishop, age 61 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Monday, August 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro.Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery. Mrs. Bishop passed away Friday evening in Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Mrs. Bishop was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of Pauline Fite Stubblefield and the late Thomas Bishop. She was a homemaker and a member of the McBurg Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter Kim Thompson and fiance Chadez Griffin of Huntsville, AL, mother Pauline Stubblefield of Fayetteville, grandchildren Kassidy, Caylann, Daeshawn, Alexia all of Huntsville, AL, sisters Charlene Cunningham and husband Bill, Debbie Dempsey and husband Paul both of Fayetteville, brother Dwight Bishop of Fayetteville.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5 until 8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.

I am going to miss you so much. My heart is broken because I wasn’t there for you more but I know you aren’t hurting and are not in any more pain. I want to know I love you so much and am so thankful for the times we had together. I have so many great memories of us and of you keeping me when I was smaller. I will cherish those forever. I will miss you dearly and know we will see each other again one day. I love you. To Kim and the kids hang in there and know Donna was so proud of yall and talked about y’all all the time. I am here for you if you need anything. Love you guys and know that she is know our special angel watching over us. Momma,Granny and ChaCha I love y’all and hate I couldn’t be there in person with y’all but I was there in spirit with you. Donna will always be a special person to us all and I am here for you if you need anything. Love you Don Don and we will see you again one day. Sure you are talking with paw paw and grand daddy by now!!! Tell them I said hello and I love them and miss them SO much!!!!
