Donald L. Presbrey

Donald L. Presbrey of Flintville, TN decided on November 5, 2025, to take the ultimate off ramp to explore the boundless Roadways of the Galaxy. From Don’s beginnings in Minneapolis, MN, to adventures on the high seas aboard the USS Constellation, there was never a fear of paths untraveled. Whether chasing Stars from the Harley Bars, or the Exhilaration of being a Crotch Rocket Jockey for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Don loved the Tarmac, wherever it lead. Friend or Felon knew from first contact that he was the epitome of a White Hat Good Guy. Honest, Compassionate, Loving family and country. His oath to the Constitution he held in high esteem, at a level few would hope to achieve. Leaving behind friends and family with hearts broken, longing for his calm, cool, and collected presence. Like so many, my soul will endlessly ache for the day I can join him for just one more Roadtrip among the Heavens.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Stewart Cemetery.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Donald L. Presbrey.

Rest in Peace brother Don. I know you are now at peace with the love of you life. Your loving wife Connie. Say hi to all of those who have gone before you as they now welcome you at the gate of heaven. You all now stand at the right hand of GOD to watch over those of us still here. Love you brother.

A wondrrful man has parted from our world. As a young newlywed, whose husband worked crazy hours in Vegas, i
I’d be alone in our homr that was next to the stadium. Don would stop by to say hi and have a cup of coffee while he would monitor the high school friday night football games. It was a welcomed visit having police presence. It became a family joke that my first born, came into our lives, with blue eyes and a helmet ring around her hairline. He was the best brother-in law i had! Gods speed Don.

Dearest Donnie and Carrie,

I know how incredibly difficult this time must be for you both, and my heart truly aches with yours. It’s tough, but I like to imagine your dad, after all of his patient waiting, finally getting that long awaited reunion with your mom. What a wonderfully joyful moment that must have been for them, together again at last. Looking back over these 55 years, it’s truly been one of the greatest blessings of my life to have been a member of your wonderful family. It is a connection I cherish deeply. Honestly, watching the two of you, the unwavering love, kindness and dedication you showed your mom and dad, especially during their final chapters- it was just remarkable. I am filled with such immense pride and gratitide to have witnessed that selfless care. The Dunn family has a treasure trove of moments to revisit anytime. Thank you for sharing your mom and dad with this grateful family. All of our love, Jerry, Jan, Julie and Jerry

Don was my trainer, my mentor and my model of how a truly good man should conduct himself. This world is smaller now without him. My consolation is that Heaven is now better for having him there.

One of the BEST DAMN COPS Vegas ever saw. He and Connie were friends for years. Ride easy Don.
