Funeral services for Mr. Daniel J Deweese, age 80 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 PM in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Sister Vivian Nicholson. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery beside his wife Tynie Whitaker Deweese.
A native of Madison Co., AL he was the son of the late Elisha and Beatrice Allen Deweese. He was a farmer, retired from Amana and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters Lois Sawyers of Fayetteville and Sarah Wright of Fayetteville, three sons Larry Pease of Fayetteville, Pat (Tracy) Deweese of Fayetteville, and John Deweese of Fayetteville, one sister Georgi Browning of New Market, AL, one brother James Deweese of Beebee, AR, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Lorine Maynard and sister Litha Deweese.
Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
