Dan Beddingfield

Funeral service for Mr. Dan Beddingfield, age 94, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 10 AM on Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Ennis Hyman and Rev. Don Hackney officiating. Burial will follow beside his wife, Yvonne Beddingfield, in Kirkland Cemetery.

Mr. Beddingfield was born September 20, 1924 to the late John Wesley and Annie Ruth McAlister Beddingfield. He was retired from the Tennessee State Highway Department and was a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God. Mr. Beddingfield passed away February 23, 2019.

Survivors include his children, Brenda Partain of Fayetteville, TN, Dianne (Larry) Harrell of Murfreesboro, TN, and David Beddingfield of Fayetteville, TN; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mr Beddingfield was preceded in death by his sister, Lena Ruth Parker and brothers, Paul and Dub Beddingfield.

Visitation with the family will be at Higgins Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5 PM until 7 PM. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Dan Beddingfield.

David, Dianne and Brenda- I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful man. I was thinking about him not too long ago. Please know that all you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Dan was a good man. He and Mrs. Yvonne were great neighbors down in Fulton Addition. She pulled most of my baby teeth.

Deepest condolences from Rockwall, Texas. Dan Beddingfield and I are 3rd cousins once removed. My great-grandmother was Alice M. “Alie” (Beddingfield) Weaver Rogers, daughter of Middleton Beddingfield of western Lincoln County.
