Daisy Mae Boyd Welch

Funeral service for Mrs. Daisy Mae Boyd Welch, age 74, of Petersburg, TN, will be conducted Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow next to her husband, Bobby C. Welch, in Welch Cemetery. Mrs. Welch passed away on January 3, 2018 at St. Thomas West.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Welch (Mark), Ramona Pittman (Joseph) both of Petersburg, TN, Rita Crane (Robert) of Shelbyville, TN, and Regina Reid (Denton) of Petersburg, TN; sisters, Debra Bernet of Springfield, MO and Pamela Boyd of Branson, MO; grandchildren,Jessie Sharp, Luke Welch (Brandy), Brent Pittman (Holly), Adam Pittman, Rusty Crane (Lisa), Phil Gleghorn (Rebekah), Anthony Gleghorn (Emily), Kala Mullins (Ben), Jessica Dykes (Eric), Sevannah Mullins (Zach); and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

What a wonderful woman, mom and Nana!! To say she will be missed doesn’t even begin to explain the impact she had on so many lives. My prayers are with the sisters, “my” sisters and family. I love you all!!!
