Funeral services for Coy D. Manderson, age 78, of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Cleo Moon officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Manderson passed away Wednesday at his residence.
A native of Marshall County, AL, he was the son of the late Kinnon Copeland “KC” and Lula Camp Manderson. He was a pilot for M & M Air Services and a veteran of the U. S. Army Airborne and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Christine Baker Manderson of Fayetteville, children Terry Manderson, Tommy Manderson and Tony Manderson, Trudy Stevenson and Tony Manderson all of Fayetteville, Timmy Manderson of Killeen, TX, three grandchildren Casey, Kyle and Alex Manderson and two great grandchildren Riley and Layne Manderson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
